From a Student Idea to a Movement of Financial and Environmental Empowerment
On January 5th, 2019, a group of students came together with a simple idea — a merry-go-round savings plan. It started as an informal effort to support one another financially. But beneath that simplicity was a powerful spark: a shared belief in the strength of youth, community, and consistency.
By the end of that year, we had outgrown the merry-go-round model. We saw real challenges — young people struggling with access to credit, financial planning, and opportunities for growth. Determined to be part of the solution, we registered as a Self Help Group on December 24th, 2019, marking a major milestone in our journey.
Since then, we’ve grown into a vibrant youth-led organization addressing the financial, social, and environmental needs of young people through:
- Short term lending and savings plans
- Financial literacy and money management training
- Budgeting, investment planning, and financial accountability
- Community building, collaboration, and peer-to-peer learning
- Youth-driven climate action and sustainability initiatives
Why We Exist
Our mission is clear: to unlock the potential of young people through financial empowerment and community-driven growth
We exist to:
- Give young people the chance to explore, express, and implement their ideas
- Provide access to well-managed savings and financial assistance
- Foster unity, discipline, and mutual support among youth
- Serve as a hub for connection, empowerment, and shared learning
- Promote environmental responsibility and climate-conscious leadership
We believe that when youth are supported, resourced, and united, they become agents of change — not just for themselves, but for their communities and future generations.
"When youth are united by purpose, guided by knowledge, and empowered with resources, their potential becomes unstoppable."
Our Core Values
These five values are the foundation of who we are and how we operate:
- Integrity – We stay honest, transparent, and accountable in everything we do.
- Unity – We grow stronger together through mutual support, collaboration, and trust.
- Empowerment – We uplift each other through knowledge, access, and opportunity.
- Innovation – We embrace creative solutions and new ideas to drive meaningful change.
- Sustainability – We act responsibly today to protect and build a better tomorrow.
What began as a student idea has become a growing force for financial transformation and youth-led development. We remain committed to the values that started it all — trust, purpose, and discipline — as we work toward a future where every young person is financially equipped, climate-conscious, and empowered to lead change.
As part of our ongoing climate action, we are currently running a plastic-to-eco-brick transformation project, turning plastic waste into usable building materials. This initiative not only promotes environmental conservation but also creates practical, scalable solutions that engage and empower youth at the grassroots level.

Stories of visionaries who inspire our journey in finance and environmental action.
The Unstoppable Jack Ma (Finance)
Did you know Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba, was rejected from Harvard ten times and even failed a KFC job interview? He started Alibaba from his small apartment with just 18 people. His persistence in the face of countless rejections, and his belief in empowering small businesses through e-commerce, transformed the global financial landscape. It shows that innovation and resilience can overcome any obstacle, even if you don't start rich or powerful!
Wangari Maathai's Mighty Seed (Environment)
Wangari Maathai, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, started the Green Belt Movement by encouraging rural women in Kenya to plant trees to prevent soil erosion and provide fuel. What began with a few seedlings grew into planting over 51 million trees! She taught us that solving big environmental problems can start with a simple, actionable step and that every single tree, like every single person's effort, makes a monumental difference. It's about starting small, dreaming big, and getting your hands dirty!
